2. Hosting
Our website is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH. When you visit the website, data such as your IP address, date and time of access, and the pages you visit are automatically stored. This data is technically necessary to provide the website and to ensure security.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure operation of the website).
3. Web Analytics (PostHog, Microsoft Clarity)
With your consent we use three analytics tools to understand how our website is used and to improve it. Both are only loaded after you click „Accept“ in the consent banner. If you decline, none of the tools is loaded and no analytics cookies are set.
PostHog
PostHog (PostHog Inc., 2261 Market Street #4008, San Francisco, CA 94114, USA). We use the EU cloud, so the data is processed on servers in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany). PostHog records page views and interactions such as clicks, together with technical data like the visited page, referrer, browser, device type and approximate location derived from your IP address. PostHog stores an identifier in cookies or local storage of your browser to recognize you across visits.
Matomo
Matomo is open-source analytics software that we host ourselves on our own server (analytics.twork-app.com). No data is shared with third parties. Matomo records page views and interactions together with technical data such as the visited page, referrer, browser, device type and your shortened IP address, and sets cookies (_pk_*) to recognize returning visitors.
Microsoft Clarity
Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052, USA; for the EEA: Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland). Clarity creates heatmaps and session recordings that show how visitors scroll, click and move through the pages. Input fields are masked. Clarity sets the cookies _clck and _clsk and processes data such as your IP address, device and browser information and your interactions on the site.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TDDDG (your consent). PostHog and Microsoft act as our processors under data processing agreements; transfers to the USA are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses. The data is not used for advertising and is not sold.
You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future via „Cookie settings“ in the footer of every page. The withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before.
4. Cookies
Without your consent our website only stores information that is technically necessary, such as your consent choice in your browser’s local storage. With your consent, PostHog, Matomo and Microsoft Clarity set the analytics cookies described above.
5. Embedded Content

We use the open-source library Leaflet to display maps with data from OpenStreetMap (OSM).
- When using the map, your IP address is transmitted to OpenStreetMap servers.
- Technical data such as the date and time of the request, browser, and device type may also be transferred.
- Data processing is carried out by the OpenStreetMap Foundation (St John’s Innovation Centre, Cowley Road, Cambridge, UK).
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in providing an appealing presentation of our online services).
For more information, please see the OpenStreetMap privacy policy:

👉 If you host Leaflet and map tiles entirely on your own server, no data is transferred to OSM servers.

We use Google Fonts locally. No data is transferred to Google in this process.
